What does it mean to draw near to God? Coming closer to God might need a self-check and reassessment. How important is fellowship with God to you? Do you spend quality time with Him? Do you consider Him as a refuge or an ATM of blessings? Drawing near to God is not a physical act. It is an unseen movement of faith that is being cultivated in the heart of a person. We can draw near to God while standing in the train or sitting in traffic or while in the office or flying in a plane. Being with God doesn’t require a church building or a mentor. If Christ lives in you through faith, you are free to draw near with confidence. Even as Christians we are aware of our unworthiness, failures and shortcomings. Remember that Christ died for us to get closer to God and come to Him without fear. He does not need us… but He does want us. Know more of Him, seek more of Him, immerse and soak into His words.
