This verse reminds us to be available for Him as He will use us to move this world and make history. God designed our lives to make a difference in this world and it doesn’t matter where you’ve been; it is not about your past mistakes and sins; He doesn’t care what we are afraid of. What He needs from us is total commitment because He wants us to be “all in” on His plans for us. Partial commitment is no commitment at all. We can’t be committed just on weekends, He wants our whole life to be dedicated for Him. It is not about how good we are, what talents we have and what our weaknesses are. It is not about our ability; it’s about our availability. If we just allow the Lord to use us and lead us to where we should, we will find meaning in this life and be able to do things that we can’t even imagine. Would you rather be just “watchers” of this world rather than “makers” of it? We should use our life to give glory to Him and help those who are lost – and this is our great commission and we can never do this alone. We need God and it all starts with a committed heart.
